Travis Norton is a retired police lieutenant with more than 25 years of law enforcement experience, including 17 years on SWAT. He has a command level background in use of force review, critical incident management, and training, and now works nationwide as a police practices and tactical operations expert. He is a National Tactical Officers Association instructor, an active shooter subject matter expert for the National Policing Institute, and chair of the NTOA Active Shooter Response Evaluative Standards Committee. Travis holds a doctorate in Policy, Planning, and Development from the University of Southern California.
