Scott Shaffer Bio
Scott Shaffer has over 20 years of law enforcement experience for an Inland Empire municipal police department. He is currently assinged as a Lieutenant in the patrol division. He has over 17 years of SWAT experience in various roles/specialties on both his department's fulltime and collateral team. He has experience as a canine handler, investigator, field training officer, arrest and control insturctor, firearms instructor, and spent time as the supervisor for his department's Training Division. He currently serves on CATO's Board of Directors and is a graduate of CATO's Strategic Leadership Program class 2. He currently instructs CATO's Critical Incident Leadership Course.
