Adam Moon is a Police Officer with the Gilroy Police Department. He is a 10 year veteran of law enforcement and is currently assigned to the Patrol Division as a Field Training Officer. In addition to patrol, Adam is an experienced Gang/Narcotics Investigator, a Defensive Tactics Instructor, and a member of the CISD / Peer Support Team. He has been a member of the Gilroy / Morgan Hill Regional SWAT Team since 2015, and is currently an Assistant Team Leader. In addition to an ATL, Adam is also the lead Firearms Instructor, a breacher, and oversees the team’s physical fitness program. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master’s of Science in Management and Leadership. He was selected as a CATO Regional Representative to Region 5 in March of 2021.
