Effective immediately, CATO will be prohibiting the use of the Sig Sauer P320 and all of its variants in/at any CATO training event. This includes classroom courses and any method of carry.
This course is intended to provide an introduction to the overwatch role for law enforcement at special events. The presenters will discuss training and equipment requirements, as well as mission profiles for various events and venues, including parades, concerts, sporting events, speeches, and protests. At the conclusion of this presentation, attendees should be able to return to their agencies with a clear understanding of the minimum equipment and capabilities required to support these events.
