Training Description:

Required Equipment:

  1.  Bring a laptop, tablet, or other device.
  2. Successfully run drills under the supervision of an instructor.
  3. Conduct a 5-minute presentation on an assigned topic.
  4. Pass a 20-question final exam with a minimum score of 80%.
  5. Bring two (2) agency-issued diversionary devices.
  6. Less-Lethal launching platform, and a minimum of five (5) munitions
  7. Bring deployable tactical gear, including vest, helmet, hearing protection, clear eyes, BDU-style uniform, and fire-retardant gloves.

COURSE INSTRUCTORS:
The course instructors have extensive experience training and deploying diversionary devices and less-lethal munitions in the tactical environment. Each instructor has a minimum of ten years of tactical experience in addition to years of instructional experience. The instructor cadre was selected from throughout the State, providing students with the advantage of regional perspectives regarding team size, capabilities, and community concerns regarding the use of diversionary devices and less-lethal munitions.

TRAVEL AND LODGING:
This course will begin at 0800 hours on the first day and conclude at
approximately 1700 hours on the last day. There is no host hotel for this course.
